Thanks b~~~
I am sick again…
I can’t believe that I’ve caught another cold in just 4 months. This time I went to seek advise from a chinese doctor. Not surprisingly, my body is a little weaker than it should be, hence I am being attacked easily. Right now, she’s giving me medication to combat the cold bug. Hopefully I will recover next week and will start on the strengthening process.
From now on, I will try to go to bed by 11. It’s when the body needs the rest to regenerate itself…
supplementary note:
The reason that we should sleep by 11pm is because 11pm is the beginning of å時. In chinese timing system, it’s the beginning of a day, and ancient chinese found that it is when your body’s regeneration begins as stated above – source: 黃å¸å…§ç¶“/Huangdi Neijing
joop’s way to combat coldness
In the last few weeks, it’s been freezing my butt off…I wore my thick jumper indoor and herbie (the microwavable heatup doll) became my best friend. You can really tell that the coldness has reached the point of insanity when you suddenly found bko voluntarily wore slippers at home. (Sorry that they were too small for you…didn’t think you’d need them hehehe)
So, if you are still freezing when you are surrounded by duvet, jackets & heater, time to take it up a notch – the chinese way.

As I’ve been drinking hot tea pot after pot, I suddenly remembered that ginger does the body good, it especially boosts up your circulation and makes you warm. I immediately grabed some dried chinese dates (make sure the stone is removed or it will give your body hotness 燥)and logan, chopped up some ginger and boiled a pot of hot water. Put them all in a water bottle (heat insulted one is best) and let them brew for 10 minutes. Add a little okinawa black sugar (it has more mineral & nutrition, such as iron, cacium potassium, magnesium…very good for women) and serve hot! It’s so heart warming and warms up your body instantly. It’s a very good drink for woman too (to replenish nutrients lost during menstruation…however don’t drink this with the dates during your mentrual cycle or you’ll get non stop bleeding….)
