I’ve finally got an ann wood birdie

I’ve been eyeing on one a couple years ago but everytime I went to her shop all the birdies were always sold out. A lot of imitation have since sprung out in the market but I know Ann’s the best. The details, the fabric and everything just worked…so talented! (I love her paper mache too but I don’t think I would have the space for it)

But thanks to twitter I went there just on time this round and got it (and the last in that batch)…..*happy dance*

obsession for various things in life

I really don’t know what better title to give but this one…it started out with me wanting to sort out some blythe clutter and went to my favorite Justco dollar store. Got load of stuff for just HK$200 (US$25). Was intended to get a bunch of box to sort things out (which I did get)…but ended up with a few more…

How can anyone say no to a smiling broom?

r1009839.jpg
These boxes are so nice~ Looks great in my (future / if ever gonna happen) walk-in closet.

r1009843.jpg
Wooden penguin toys~ So cute and simple and they make noise to attract babies. Tommy will agree that these are good purchase.

r1009844.jpg
The hello kitty bug must’ve gotten into me. First the socks, then this? But the old school look is really cute~

r1009846.jpg
Wooden pull charm for each of the girls.

r1009837.jpg
And oh, here are the boxes…

I didn’t know I have that many blythe stuff until now because most of them are from 2003 (haven’t really touch them for years). So you want to see how crazy it is?

r1009822.jpg
OMG! I think they have more clothes than me

r1009824.jpg
Top

r1009823.jpg
Pants

r1009825.jpg
Dress/skirt

r1009826.jpg
Jacket

r1009828.jpg
Shoes

r1009827.jpg
Head piece

r1009832.jpg
Accessories

r1009834.jpg
Even the petite ones have a few items

r1009831.jpg
Hmm…I think blythe has similar hobby as me

r1009836.jpg
They are travel ready

r1009835.jpg
With passport and stuff packed!! *O*

I think this entry is a good way to document the actual blythe inventory. I will check this out before I make any more move (yea rite!)

dsc_4958.jpg
I was actually a bit surprise at first that cody wasn’t interested at the bits and pcs laying all over the floor

dsc_4960.jpg
…yet moving in closer…

dsc_4962.jpg
and went for the red top when (he thinks) I wasn’t looking. nice try!

And while I was sorting stuff out I also found…

r1009838.jpg
tonnes of sewing materials for a person who procrastinated to rebutton her jacket/pants/shirts until she absolutely needs to wear it

Since I’ve opened up the pandora box, might as well show a couple more items

r1009874.jpg
Thanks to chrissy I’ve got the complete set of alphabet & number stamps~ I love stamping.

r1009797.jpg
Ok, I got thisよつば Yotsuba figurine just recently. I haven’t even saw this cartoon before but the summery feel just drawn me in

r1009798.jpg
See even cody thinks she’s cute

r1009808.jpg
ta-da – my first ball-joint doll

And as I was moved to clean out my shoes inventory, to my horror I have 48 pairs!!! It’s actually not that big of a deal to many people but then I only wear 3-4 pairs on regular basis and always have a feeling that I don’t have enough variety. I’ve forgotten I actually have the other shoes. (But to my defense quite a few of them are work shoes and high heels that I don’t like wearing normally…)

sep10_2008.jpg

To combat this I’ve printed photos of each of the shoes and will stick them on the shoes box. That way I will remember what shoes I actually have.

A few of them have a story behind them:

r1010098.jpg
This is the oldest shoes in the shoes pile. I got them more than a decade ago when I was still in university. It was the first pair of expensive shoes that I’ve got with my own money. I remembered seeing it in the opposite Italian shoes shop when I was part-timing in Pacific Center. After drooling over them for weeks, I finally bit the bullet and got them. I remembered it costed me a whooping C$190+tax. Mind you I was only making C$8.50/hour then.

Though they are totally beaten up, I hope I can keep wearing them forever.

Also, I tended to buy shoes for wedding and forget about them. Better kill this habit.

This pair has no history yet but it’s my latest addition. And I am proud that it looked so different from what I already have. haha

r1009845.jpg
I managed to find some sterling change…it would definitely help fund my obsession :)

And from the pictures above it’s not hard to tell that I am obssessed with cody. He’s in there so often…as in my life~ Love you~ (Ok, I am also obsessed with bko but I don’t think he wants anything to do with my blythe :P love u too)

It all started with me…

r1009549.jpg
…going down some escalator

r1009550.jpg
…wearing some garbage bag like top which I love

r1009537.jpg
…and the sparkly shoes which I borrowed from dorothy at wizard of oz (yea she traded in her red ones for these)

r1009551.jpg
…catching the MTR and saw this sweet couple

r1009552.jpg

Then we did a bit of shopping…

And ta-da…Chrissy bot me this for my birthday while we were browsing in Cocktail~(btw I love your cat mask necklace too) Thanks so much *o* They are from Comfort Station. Love their work!! Tommy, go check them out tho they are in Bricklane

r1009577.jpg
r1009578.jpg

Then it’s time to head home to make some yummy home cook meal

r1009588.jpg
You can probably tell what I was about to make?!

r1009589.jpg
Homemade meatballs with organic beef is always the best. I love adding a bit of carrot & onion. Lovely color isn’t it?

r1009590.jpg
It’s important to make all the meatballs into similar sizes. Also, when you pan fry them, don’t squash them or the juice will be lost. Foodie Bko gave me the seal of approval. Yea!

r1009598.jpg
Even Cody get to have a bit of organic carrot as topping. I’ve decided to add a bit of veggie here and there to spice up his kibble meal

r1009599.jpg
As always, he was inspecting the new food but he finished it. Guess it’s greenlight for veggie.

r1009600_1.jpg
Almost forgot to mention these cute Hello Kitty socks from H&M. It’s for the child in me. Love them!
