I have been struggling for weeks about getting a baby gym as i am not a big fan of huge kiddy toy (unless they are wooden toys)
Finally i caved in because i think Liam could use some stimulation and exercise…
Seems like Liam is enjoying it…and Cody is equally amused by the sight…
Can’t believe it’s four months already! Time was flying by so quickly and I didn’t have any motivation writing blog…luckily I did write down everything somewhere. And I better get my act together in starting his baby book.
I’ve decided that I will be documenting Liam’s growth more frequently here.
And I probably would re-uploaded some of the entries for the last couple of months but here’s the important milestone so far (might need to revise since I have super bad memory nowaday):
0 months – welcome to the world
2 months – slept through the night, smile, hate tummy time but can lift head up briefly
3 months – laugh out load, babble, super neck and spinal strength, love sucking his finger and tried gripping toys and interesting objects. Showing hand/eye coordination. Love observing the world.
4 months – rollover (from tummy time to lying on back) and can hold his head up with ease on tummy time
Lately I’ve been panicking about school application. Have finally sent out a dozen of applications (and I was late for some of them already. What planet are we on?). Deep down, I have this fear of how competitive it’s going to be for him in Hong Kong. For now, I will try not to think about it because it’s nothing we could control at the moment. I just hope he will have a fun & love filled childhood.
He seems to be a very happy baby because he smiles a LOT! I really like that fact that when he woke up in the morning, instead of crying for companionship he would just lie there enjoying his moment. And when you finally go to check him out he would crack up a big gummy smile as if he’s very happy to see you. It’s really a wonderful feeling to have a kid of your own which no word can describe. (Tho I was worried sick when he was feverish after his 4th month immunization)
Welcome to the fun and game (and tear) of parenthood…
This year we have decided to do a little bit more in terms of spicing things up for CNY
Our world will change…
